| CALL FOR PAPERS Brazilian Journal of Law and Public Policy EDITION 2016.3 We invite all interested scholars to consider submitting a paper to the next edition of the Brazilian Journal of Law and Public Policy (RBPP). Ranked by the Brazilian National Counsel of Technological and Scientific Development as Qualis B2 in Law, RBPP is becoming an important academic asset in the quest for development and construction of critical views about Law and Public Policy. The Brazilian Journal of Law and Public Policy is indexed on the following databases: HeinOnline, LexisNexis, NewJournal (Georgetown University), Directory of Open Access Journals, Portal periódicos CAPES, Directory of Research Journals Indexing, WorldCat, among others. The call for papers is open to articles focusing on at least one of the themes mentioned bellow: - New trends in Constitutional and Administrative Law; - Theory of public policies; - Governmental system; - Electoral system and citizenship; - Political Party system and constitutional reform; - Criminal Proceedings - Sustainable development and environment; - Human Rights and development; - Administration of government action; - Methodology of evaluation of public policies and development policies; - Legal methodology of public policy analysis; - Results of analysis of public policy; - Research in sectorial public policy. SUBMISSION PROCESS Manuscripts may be submitted in English, French, Portuguese, or Spanish. RBPP reserves the right to reject articles if the level of the chosen language is insufficient. A double blind peer-reviewing policy is adopted. The response from the first review will normally be provided within 20 days from the submission. Authors should preferably hold a Master’s Degree or a PhD and/or have a strong professional/academic background in Law, Political Science or related field at the time of submission. RBPP considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that they have been submitted only to RBPP, that they have not been published already, nor are they under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. Encontra-se aberta a chamada de artigos originais e inéditos para o dossiê temático “JUSTIÇA, DIREITOS SOCIAIS E DIREITOS HUMANOS” da Revista Brasileira de Políticas Públicas. 2. A Revista Brasileira de Políticas Públicas é uma publicação do Programa de Mestrado e Doutorado em Direito do Centro Universitário de Brasília (CEUB) e está classificada como A1 no Qualis - Área de Direito - da CAPES. A relevância deste dossiê temático reside na necessidade premente de examinar as intersecções entre o sistema de Justiça e a efetivação material dos Direitos Fundamentais Sociais e Direitos Humanos, sob a ótica do constitucionalismo contemporâneo. A articulação entre Justiça, Direitos Sociais e Direitos Humanos ganha contornos cada vez mais complexos na contemporaneidade, exigindo uma análise que transcenda as fronteiras nacionais, explorando-se o diálogo multinível entre o direito interno e os sistemas internacionais de proteção, buscando-se fomentar debates que subsidiem respostas institucionais mais adequadas às demandas por justiça social e proteção à dignidade humana. 4.4. O dossiê temático é um convite para que a academia se engaje em um debate a respeito de tais ideias. Nesse sentido, os seguintes temas podem ser considerados para o desenvolvimento dos artigos, entre outros: i. Direitos Humanos e Fundamentais em perspectiva de gênero. ii. Direitos Humanos e Fundamentais para as futuras gerações. iii. Direitos Humanos e Fundamentais como paradigmas do Estado Democrático de Direito. iv. Justiça Social Interamericana. v. | The Brazilian Journal of Public Policies (RBPP) is an academic legal journal designed to be a means of disseminating scientific and doctrinal works addressing contemporary legal issues and exploring the interaction between Law and Public Policies. Consequently, the journal focuses on topics related to governance, integration, citizen participation, development, and other subjects involving the State, Society, and Law. RBPP invites PhD researchers from Brazil and abroad to contribute as ad hoc reviewers to the journal. Interested individuals should register at the following link https://forms.gle/hTQZXy1e4vCJK6e9A. After analysis by the editors, successful applicants will be officially recognized in the journal as REVIEWERS. It is essential to specify the thematic areas of interest and preferred languages for the proper assignment of papers. The role of the reviewer is voluntary and unpaid, with no implication of employment or any formal relationship with RBPP/UniCEUB. Reviewers will receive a statement acknowledging their contributions. Once selected to evaluate a paper, the REVIEWER will receive an email notification regarding the assigned submissions.
